Join us for an audio described tour with tactile materials and discussion of artworks in the exhibition Interfacial Intimacies. Audio description is a verbal description of visual information designed for people who are blind or have low vision but provides deeper insights and information for everyone. All visitors and certified guide, hearing and assistance dogs are welcome.

Interfacial Intimacies brings together artists who hold and express tenderly the multiple aspects of their selves through a series of portraiture and anti-portraiture. The exhibition features photography, film, installations, sculpture, textile, and performance.

There is seating in the exhibition space and some low lighting and sound-based artwork.

Audio descriptions have been developed by Nilgun Guven.

Tours are available by request. To book, contact the gallery on (07) 3883 5670 or

This workshop is part of the exhibition Interfacial Intimacies.
