From an abundance of native ingredients to waves of imported influences, Australian food continues to reinvent itself. Lift the lid on food in all its flavours!

What's on

Join us at the official opening of the exhibition and begin your exploration of Australian food culture at its very beginning.

Taste native Australian food flavours as you see, touch and smell their ingredients. Aunty Dale Chapman, a Kooma, Yuwaalaraay woman from central Queensland, chef at First Food Co and author of cookbook Coo-ee Cuisine, will guide your experience.
