The Moreton Bay Region Art Prize supports and celebrates the diverse creative talent of local Moreton Bay Region artists.
 
The prize pool totals $10,000 with a non-acquisitive prize of $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place, $1,500 for third place and $500 for a People’s Choice Award.

Over 200 entries were received this year, with 38 finalists selected for exhibition at Pine Rivers Art Gallery.

Exhibiting artists include: Rachel Apelt, Kelli-jay Ashford, Karike Ashworth, Arthur Bach, Cliff Bauer, Blair Garland and Russell Solomon, Angela Blakely, Joanne Braddy, Aaron Butt, Steve Cantrill, Paul Collins, Jamie Congdon, Tegan Conway-Ushaw, Rudolf de Jager, Helen Evans, Belinda Finch, Joaquin Gonzales, Carl Holder, Emily Howard, Jennifer Kent, Yuliana Kusumastuti, Stuart Meyer-Plath, Shannon Michaels, Gabi Mika-McNaughton, David Morgan, Sarah O'Neill, Kevin Pearson, Garry Pittman, Kevan Rigby, Pia Robinson, John A Robinson, Michelle Spencer, Marrilyn Stahmer, Julie Thornton, Andrew Todd, Anna Turnbull, Matthew Williamson.

Rachel Arndt, the Gallery Curator at The Condensery, Toogoolawah was the judge for 2022. Rachel is an accomplished arts leader with over 20 years’ experience in the visual arts sector. She has held various leadership roles in visual arts programming, collections management, policy and grants management, and exhibition touring in Australia and internationally.

Winners will be published on the website once announced.

Council is committed to helping local artists further their careers with opportunities to exhibit, receive funding or enter exhibitions and competitions.
