Stop motion animation workshops

Stop motion animation workshop

Calling all Moreton Bay young people!

What matters to you? Is it koala’s homes, swimming in clean waterways or saving the bees?

Come along to these fun workshops to learn about and create your own stop-motion animation with artist Sue Loveday. Use your animations to share your thoughts and opinions about the environment you live in and you may make your debut at the upcoming Green screen exhibition!

Green screen is a workshop series and exhibition offered by Moreton Bay Regional Council for young people 8-16 years. Using stop-motion animation, assembled sculpture and poster making, Green screen will present their concerns and ideas about human impact on the environment. The outcomes of the workshops will be an interactive exhibition over the summer school holidays at Pine Rivers Art Gallery.

Light lunch provided. All materials provided.

The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Moreton Bay Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
