“When my mother required a serving bowl for Christmas lunch, something resembling an archaeological dig unearthed a cache of family artefacts, a dusty box full of dirt encrusted glass negatives and film, circa 1920s and 1930s, courtesy of family photographer Frank Winston”. - Lissa Winston
On public display for the first time, these long-forgotten images and movies provide a fascinating insight into daily and holiday life on Bribie Island in the early 1900s.
Exhibition developed by Moreton Bay Regional Council in partnership with Lissa Winston.
