All I want to do is draw Joolie Gibbs workshop

Inspired by Joolie’s 4 metre work in the exhibition, this workshop will take participants through some of the foundations and basics to enjoy drawing, using botanicals as the subject. Includes working with botanical inks.

Joolie Gibbs loves nothing better than drawing and has been drawing most of her life. Wildflowers have taken on a particular interest for her, and she hope they will for you too after acquiring some useful tips.

Schedule

  • Morning tea and walk through exhibition -10.30 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Workshop -11:00 AM -1:00PM

Wildflower wallum walk

An optional Wallum walk from 8:45 AM from the northern end of Cotterill Ave is being offered. Own transport required, please wear covered shoes and bring a hat. A moderate level of fitness is required, the walk covers relatively flat but uneven ground.

What is provided?

All materials for the workshop will be provided however participants are welcome to bring their own paper and preferred drawing pens or drawing materials if they desire. Morning tea is also provided.
