From trash to treasure, recycled fashion and sustainable living is the way of the future.

Be inspired by current exhibition Beach Couture: A Haute Mess and create your own “trashion gown” these school holidays.  In the exhibition, artist Marina DeBris creates wearable pieces made of trash collected from beaches and oceans. Let’s see what you can create with recycled plastics and papers.

Did you know?

Clothes can take up to 40 years to decompose while shoes can take up to 1,000 years to break down!!! Amazingly 95% of textiles can be recycled.
