Wild about wildlife workshop: Ornate Rainbowfish

23 Nov 2019 | 09:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Wild about wildlife

The ornate rainbowfish is a unique and beautiful native freshwater fish found in only a few locations in the Greater Brisbane region. Its distribution has contracted due to urban and rural development.

Every time we lose a population of ornate rainbowfish from a creek system we are effectively losing a very unique group of fish forever. Join us to learn and get involved on a local level to protect and restore habitat and reduce predation of this priority species.

Morning tea provided. Suitable for ages 16 and over.
