National Tree Day- Australia’s largest community tree-planting event - is a day for the community to come together and enhance our local environment by planting native trees and shrubs.
This is a great opportunity to get your hands dirty, plant some trees and meet other members of the community. You can also meet your local Environment Officer - Conservation who will be happy to answer any conservation-related questions you may have.
All members of the community are welcome to attend - just wear sunscreen, enclosed shoes, long pants, long-sleeve shirt and a hat. All tools and equipment are provided, along with refreshments. Drinking water will be supplied, please bring your own drinking bottle.
National Tree Day will be held in 3 parks and Reserves across the region.
For more information on the planting at Cliff Street Reserve and to RSVP visit: the Tree Day website.
