Bush Detective: Fauna Forensics

Has your child ever wondered about what kinds of fauna live in their neighbourhood? Or have you come across wildlife poop and thought, whose scat is that? Then join us at CREEC for this junior version of Fauna Forensics.

Bush Detective: Fauna Forensics is a wildlife identification workshop facilitated by Geckoes Wildlife.

During the workshop, kids will learn how to assess and categorise wildlife evidence.  

Using their sight, sound, smell, and touch, they will begin to develop the confidence and skills needed to identify fauna.

What to bring:

  • a hat
  • sunscreen 
  • enclosed shoes 
  • a water bottle
  • morning tea. 

Limited tickets available. Bookings are essential.

This workshop is recommended for children over the age of eight. It is not suitable for toddlers and infants.
