Butterflies, bees and bugs - oh my!

Join us for a buzzing good time with BugsEd’s educational presentation on pollinators. Discover why these tiny critters are a big deal for our planet.

We’ll dive into the importance of the conservation of native pollinators and the environmental impacts they face.

Did you know that 65% of all flowering plants and some seed plants need insects to pollinate them? Australian native trees and shrubs depend on insects to help them produce seeds and fruits.

This ensures the survival and propagation of our native plant species.

There will be some cool preserved insects to check out and even a native beehive!

Our Australian native bees are the superheroes of the pollinating world! They make sure eucalypts, angophoras, tea trees and other members of the Myrtaceae family get their pollen fix. Without these heroes, these plants would struggle to survive, which is bad news for the ecosystems they support!

Don’t miss out on this un-bee-lievable adventure. Come along and become a pollinator protector today!
