Celebrate the joy of springtime at our blossom painting workshop. Create a flower painting on canvas with the expert guidance of local artist Todd Whisson.

We will have everything you need to make a 25 x 25-centimetre artwork to brighten your home. There will even be templates to help get your creativity shining!

Like all Joy Connection activities, this guided workshop is open to everyone. No painting skills are necessary. Enjoy connecting with others and revel in springtime flowers.

About your host

Brisbane-born Todd Whisson is a coastal and landscape artist inspired by history and local stories. Todd evokes a spirit within the landscape, often painting overlooked or unnoticed subjects.

Todd spent 27 years exhibiting as an impressionist artist. In 2015, he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Griffith University.

Todd’s work is in public collections including the State Library of Queensland, City of Moreton Bay, and TAFE Qld. His paintings also feature in private collections within Australia and overseas.
