Acapella singing - weekly online workshops

11 Jan 2022 - 15 Feb 2022

People singing as a group
From the comfort of your own home, enjoy the physical, emotional, mental and social benefits of acapella singing in this all ages, all abilities online series where you are invited to sing for joy!

Drawing on jubilant acapella songs from around the world, lead facilitator Anne Warren will deliver four weekly online sessions for you to practise at home with family and household friends. No previous singing ability is required. A new song will be released each Tuesday.

Family groups are encouraged to learn online together as intergenerational participation is sure to guarantee you’ll keep singing these songs long after the video lesson ends. Communal singing has been proven to calm heart rates, boost the immune system, reduce depression and stress and build feelings of social cohesion and closeness. Don’t miss this opportunity to start 2022 with a joyful burst of vocal energy.

In the coming months, there will be an opportunity to gather together to sing in person in an outdoor location in Moreton Bay Region so make sure you sign up to Acapella singing online to keep informed of when new lessons are published and find out when and where the in-person event will be held.

All ages. Family attendance encouraged.
