Your application will be carefully reviewed by the team at City of Moreton Bay to determine your skills and experience in line with the requirements of the role and in comparison, to the other applications we receive.

Phone interview

Interview

Interview

If your application is progressed past our Phone Interview assessment, we will invite you to attend an interview or Group Assessment Centre with our team. These occur at one of our many sites or in some instances, may be a virtual interview. You may be invited for a second interview if required. Visit Applying for a role at Council to find out more. 

Background checks

Background checks

If your application is progressed from our Interview stage we will be required to complete reference checks, National Police Checks and verify your Australia Working Rights. Depending on the role, you may be required to participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, audiology assessment and pre-employment functional assessment. There are no associated costs to individuals.

Offer of employment

If your application is successful, you will be provided with a verbal offer of employment (and congratulations!) along with an Offer letter and contract.
