Council at its General Purposes Committee meeting of 8 November 2011 resolved to restrict certain types of dog breeds so as to maximise the safety of its community. This proposal will require the amendment of existing Council Subordinate Local Laws through the enactment of Moreton Bay Regional Council Subordinate Amendment Local Law No. 1 (Animal Management) 2012.
