Redcliffe City Planning Scheme

On 28 November 2005 the Council adopted the Redcliffe City Planning Scheme 2005 in accordance with the Integrated Planning Act, and resolved that the Redcliffe City Planning Scheme 2005 is to have effect from the 12 December 2005.

The Redcliffe City Planning Scheme 2005 has been prepared to manage future development in the city by identifying the preferred locations for land uses and the standards for new development in the city.

Enquiries

Enquiries about zonings, overlays and other provisions of the Redcliffe City Planning Scheme are also able to be searched via PD Online. This online tool enables you to search, view and print property information, as well as the ability to track the progress of development applications from lodgement through to determination.

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Adopted Infrastructure Charges Resolution

On 28 June 2011, an Adopted Infrastructure Charges Resolution for the Moreton Bay Region was made by Council.  This resolution provides for a standard trunk infrastructure charges system which includes simplified calculation methods.

Proposed amendments 

There are currently no proposed amendments on public consultation.

Adopted amendments

Since the commencement of the current planning provisions for the Redcliffe District on 12 December 2005, a number of adopted amendments have been undertaken. 

Temporary Local Planning Instrument (TLPI 05/12)

On 2 November 2012, Moreton Bay Regional Council resolved to adopt Temporary Local Planning Instrument 05/12 for the Moreton Bay Rail Link. The Temporary Local Planning Instrument will ensure that Transit Oriented Development principles are applied to development proposals in the Moreton Bay Rail Link corridor. TLPI 05/12 commenced on Monday, 12 November 2012 and will be in effect for a period of one year.
