Moreton Bay Regional Council is building a four lane bridge with pedestrian pathways and bike lanes over the railway at Francis Road, Lawnton.

Construction work is now underway, with council connecting Francis Road with Gympie Road and Youngs Crossing Road.

The Francis Road overpass will ease traffic congestion at the Todds Road, Lawnton level crossing.

The new rail overpass will provide a safer, more convenient way for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists to gain access over the railway line.
