Pine Rivers district is pleased to advise that due to popular demand the community bus will be retained for use by community organisations. In order to address the many issues that previously hampered the ongoing provision of the service, Council has approved a new policy that addresses priority use of the bus, and encourages both drivers and user groups to take due responsibility for the bus.
Please note there is a bond and administration fee for each use, and may be paid by cash, cheque or credit card - refer to Council's fees & charges.
The administration fee is non-refundable, but is transferable to another booking date within the same calendar year. The bond may be carried over to future bookings. The administration fee must be paid when bookings are made.
Please take the time to read the below related documents and complete the relevant forms. If possible, your organisation is encouraged to provide a driver for accreditation.
