Community banners

Moreton Bay Regional Council has poles erected for not-for-profit community associations using their own banners to advertise events at no cost. Sites are listed below.

Community banner sign sites can only be used by community/non-profit organisations for the purpose of promoting community events and one-off sporting club activites within the region.

Organisations are to complete this form and return to Council for consideration at least 14 days prior to requested advertising date:

Conditions

  • Approval is at Council's discretion. Council reserves the right to accept, refuse or cancel any booking.
  • Council events and advertising have priority over other organisations.
  • The person completing the 'Application to Erect a Community Banner' form, and whose signature appears on the form, is subject to the Conditions of Use.
  • Organisations are to provide their own banner, sign written with appropriate wording relating to the event.
  • Commercial advertising is not permitted on the banners.
