The Moreton Bay Regional Council's Community Demographic Profile website includes results from the 2006, 2001, 1996, 1991 Censuses of Population and Housing.
The Community Demographic Profile website is designed to inform community groups, Council, investors, business, students and the general public. To achieve this, the profile is formatted to present data in simple, clear tables and charts with concise factual commentary.
Caboolture district
Community is the core of society. Council works with government and community organisations to foster a sense of belonging amongst residents, young and old. This is done by encouraging residents to participate in cultural, recreational and sporting activities and by establishing partnerships to provide a variety of social, educational and welfare support programs and activities to communities.
Caboolture, nestled between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, is home to 139,000 people. It is one of the fastest-growing communities in Australia, with around 3,000 new residents attracted to the region every year.
