Exhibition: Crossing the Pumice & Habitat

Crossing the Pumice Image

Crossing the Pumice is the story of Ron Badenhorst’s transition from Brisbane life to retirement on Bribie Island. Formally an art director, Ron has interpreted the feel and lifestyle of Bribie Island into a collection of colourful scenic paintings.

Habitat - Collections in Clay is a textural exploration of natural vessels and forms by Samford artist Susan Mullen and Northern NSW artist Bronwyn Russell. Susan’s exhibition represents natural objects – seed pods, mud wasps chambers, coolamons and other treasures found in nature and is complemented by Bronwyn’s organic coil pots with their ornate swirls and intricate patterning.
