Community banners

Council has poles erected for not-for-profit community associations using their own banners to advertise events at no cost.

Community banner pole sites can only be used by community / non-profit organisations for the purpose of promoting community events and one-off sporting club activities within the region.

Organisations need to complete an application to erect a community banner form and return to Council for consideration at least 14 days prior to requested advertising date.

Terms & conditions

By completing and submitting an application to Council, each applicant agrees to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

• Council events & advertising have priority over other organisations
• Approval is at Council's discretion - Council reserves the right to accept, refuse or cancel any booking
• Commercial advertising is not permitted on the banners
• Organisations are to provide their own banner / sign written with appropriate wording relating to the event
