Cultural support

Council assists cultural development, diversity of expression and works to build creative industries within the region by:

  • Provision of grants and funding (for relevant groups, events & projects)
  • Hosting & supporting collective creativity events / festivals
  • Providing food for thought - a professional development program for the creative community

Creative Moreton

Creative Moreton (link opens in new window) is an initiative of Council to support local arts and culture. 

An online portal to arts, culture and heritage in the Moreton Bay Regional Council area, Creative Moreton provides information on arts and cultural projects and events. It also profiles artists, actors, musicians, writers, creative organisations and much more!
