Beach patrols

Woorim Beach, Bribie Island

The surf beach at Woorim is patrolled year round by volunteers from the Bribie Island Surf Life Saving Club.

Swimmers are urged to stay between the flags and adhere to other signage to ensure their safety.

Woorim is the only patrolled beach on the island.

Suttons Beach, Redcliffe

Suttons Beach is patrolled on the weekends during Summer by the Redcliffe Surf Life Saving Club.  Swimmers are urged to stay between the flags and adhere to other signage to ensure their safety.

Suttons Beach is the only patrolled beach on the Peninsula.

Settlement Cove Lagoon, Redcliffe

The Settlement Cove Lagoon is large salt water lagoon on the Redcliffe foreshore. 

Lifeguards patrol the lagoon during the Summer months between 10am and 6pm, Monday to Friday and between 9am and 6pm on weekends and during school holidays. 

A pool wheelchair is available for patrons with a disability.
