Moreton Bay Region Art Awards
The Moreton Bay Region Art Awards attract entries from emerging and established artists from both Queensland and interstate. These awards were previously the Pine Rivers Annual Art Awards which ran for 16 years.
Works are pre-selected ensuring a high calibre exhibition of works across a broad range of artforms including photography, painting and sculpture. Total awards and acquisition money - $32,000.
Categories & prizes
- Photography / 2D Digital Art / Computer Art
- 1st prize $5,000 non acquisitive merit certificate
- 2D works - 1st prize $5,000 non acquisitive merit certificate
- 3D works - 1st prize $5,000 non acquisitive merit certificate
All categories are open to artists regardless of where they live with a special Local Artist Prize awarded to an eligible local artist (Moreton Bay region) from any of the above categories - prize $1,000 non acquisitive merit certificate.

How to enter
An entry form together with all entry fees and attachments and a completed Withholding Tax Exempltion / Declaration Form 55 must be returned by 5.00pm Monday, 1 March 2010, to:

All three categories of the 2009 Moreton Bay Region Art Awards were open this year and we had a special prize for a local artist.
