Moreton Bay Regional Council emerged after the March 2008 local government elections, amalgamating the previous Councils of Caboolture, Pine Rivers & Redcliffe. The Moreton Bay Region covers 2011 sq km, and has a population of 355,000. It is represented by a Mayor and 12 divisional Councillors.
Council programs range from building roads and collecting rubbish to providing sporting facilities and promoting the development of art and culture.
Moreton Bay Regional Council is committed to providing cost-effective services and facilities to enhance residents' quality of life.
